I’ve been getting my hair done by Stephy for almost 4 years. Be it cut, color or style, she executes the vision PERFECTLY, all while keeping in mind how you can maintain the look within your everyday routine (ie, not high maintenance).

This is an underrated gem that I stumbled upon back in 2023 and have been going back to Stephy at Kimistry since then. Stephy is extremely knowledgeable about hair, a talented stylist, and an incredibly approachable and genuine human being.
I have long straight hair that gets heavy as it grows. On my first visit, Stephy took the initiative to recommend how to shape it in a way that preserves length and volume, while keeping it very low maintenance. This differed from the approach many stylists would do which is to simply thin the hair out.
She did a fantastic job of re-cutting my hair in a way that is flattering to my features and adds character without needing additional products or styling. The amount of layers she added to my hair in a way that looks natural and effortless is unbelievable!
For both every day wear and for special occasions, she gave me tips on how to handle my hair in a way that has turned out to be constantly on point. Simply blow drying my hair or leaving it to air dry finds it back in the shape that she started. I've gone back to her ever since for trims and every visit has been efficient and immaculate.
I've been to many reputable salons around the world (including prime spots in Asia where people specialize in my hair type) that leaves me with one good look for an event, but then requires unnecessarily great effort to recapture it after.
Here, Stephy doesn't just give you a nice one-off haircut; she understands her craft thoroughly enough to treat your hair in a way that maintains its appearance as it grows.
I usually don't leave reviews because I believe good work speaks for itself for each individual's experience. This, however, is one salon and stylist I'll recommend without hesitation if anyone needs affirmation before their first booking.

First time at Kimistry and I couldn’t be happier. I usually avoid haircuts because my long curly hair has been messed up too many times. Hadn’t cut it in over 2 years! Jimmy was amazing, super meticulous and took his time planning everything before cutting. The result was better than I could've expected. Great experience overall!
