Really high quality yakitori. Have been trying several yakitori places to compare with what we tried in Japan - this place offers authentic yakitori with the best ramen I’ve ever tasted (calibrated to suit my picky Singaporean taste buds). Highly recommend the tori negi (chicken thigh with leek) as the chicken is soft, juicy and the leek brings out the binchotan charcoal aroma. Chicken oyster blade was really interesting & surprisingly yummy- crispy skin with succulent chicken. Tsukune surprised us as it was juicy, flavourful & kept us wanting more. Despite being on the slightly pricier side, we feel the effort and dedication put into each piece of yakitori and especially the ramen. Can’t wait to come back again, after Ting’s wonderful service and recommendation of other dishes/ skewers.

Very very expensive 🙄🙄🙄
Omakase yakitori and main bulk is just different parts of a chicken...
Compulsory of 1 sake bottle (min. $160) per 2 pax. So PER PAX spending is 300++, I think in Orihara the food is of more value given they have fresh draft beer and wholesale sake choices. Nothing fancy for that kind of price, I would have expected more. Service staff attitude was great. Attentive and provided lots of information. Also shows a lot of passion. First and last visit...

Extremely happy we decided to eat here while walking by. Everything was excellent and we especially loved the chicken liver and chicken skin. Skin was expertly grilled to crispy perfection. Bar seating made for great conversation with the Chef Jeffrey - thanks so much!

Its my X numbers of time returning to KAI for their food.
KAI serves high quality Japanese yakitori. Loves their chicken skin and heart.
Service staff and chef are friendly. Love the open kitchen concept where you can see the chef prepare the food. The chef put in so much effort to get the food ready and serve to my front.
Do check with the service staff on what are the items not in menu. May have hidden gems.

Had this when the chef was still at level 3. The grilled kinki fish was really really really excellent. The rest was very good too - but not as memorable as the kinki. A treat from a friend (who is a regular) - so I didn't feel the pain of the high price point - so can give 5-star without hesitation. But if I was to pay for myself......
