Salted caramel cheese bread sounded indulgent but the filling was minimal, quite disappointing. The shio pan was good, buttery with a crispy bottom. For the price they charge, it would be better if they could at least provide 1 bag per purchase, as it is more hygienic for storing buns in our bags.

Johan Paris at Isetan undoubtedly offers a wonderful selection of fresh pastries, breads, and buns of all sorts. Their items are always freshly replenished, so you’re guaranteed quality every time. Although the prices are slightly higher than average, they certainly don’t compromise on taste and quality. Our favorite is the fluffy cheese soft bread — generously filled with soft, semi melty cheese in every bite. Always a must-buy whenever we visit Isetan!

The fluffy cheese bread here is absolutely irresistible! Soft, pillowy, and packed with an incredible amount of rich, gooey cheese in every bite. It’s baked fresh daily and released at 3pm and 7pm. Definitely worth timing your visit around those hours.

They have a big range of fresh bakes and are more unique compared to many other bakeries. Their limited time fluffy cheese bread tastes really delicious and is sinfully addictive. The aroma and flavour of the cheese makes the bread one of my favourites. Be sure to grab some when you are in the area and toasting it a little at home makes it even better.

It's a huge section at the side of Isetan. The range of sweet potato favourites is quite huge. Authentic and delicious, the sweet potato taste is great. But could be a bit sweet, so for pple who is health conscious, don't be overwhelmed and buy too many. There are also other bread, loaves, and items at another section beside. Basically, it is not a circular bakery section, there is also a gallery stretch which u can view and purchase. A minus point would be there's no table / chairs or sthg like a cafe for customers to sit and dine. Anything that is not popping hot would really minus a star. For bakes, we usually just eat on the same day, or bring hot to oven it before eating. Really awkward to have good bakes but cannot be enjoyed hot. Even a simple 5-10 person counter and simple coffee and tea served would be good.

While Johan have several other locations, this particular shop has maintained consistent quality over time. Other than their popular Shio Pan, my absolute favourite is the Fluffy Cheese Bread ($6.40 for half loaf, around 5-6 slices), which is released daily at 3 PM and 7 PM. It's generously loaded with cheese, and the bread has a soft, chewy texture. The aroma is heavenly, and it usually sells out within the first two hours. If you're lucky enough to spot it, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Normally love this bakery, but my An(red bean paste) Butter today was a complete letdown. It was sold without the anko filling! Just butter and bread. Extremely frustrating and a massive mistake.

My favourite place to get mini cheese cake. It’s so good you won’t even notice you’ve devoured more than 5 in a single sitting. It’s not too sweet, not jelak and enough to satisfy you for a tea time snack. The other pastries they have are pretty yummy as well but I would mainly come back for the cheese cake.

If you're an European bread and pastries kind of person, this will be a shopping heaven for you. They have special baking hours for different types of breads, which makes their bakes even fresher. Only issue however, is that the price point is a little higher.

Tried the number 1 selling Shio roll. It’s amazing. Not that salty. Though the crust is lightly salted. Inner is very soft with moisture. The cranberry lemon is a little disappointing. Could be the Shio roll is too soft, yet the cranberry lemon is like normal dough. But the filling combination of lemon and cranberry is amazing. They have hourly freshly baked bread and cut on the spot. Quite interesting.
