I can't recommend this pediatrician.
The doctor I went to before was very good, but now... He often just told me to wait and see without any basis, which worried me. He also only looked at my baby for five minutes during the infant health checkup and then finished. I was disappointed with the sloppy examination, which doesn't live up to the high standards of a Japanese clinic. The information about vaccinations was often vague, which only increased my anxiety.

My child developed a high fever shortly after arriving in Singapore. I panicked because I couldn't speak any English, but I ended up at this hospital. From the reception to the examination, the staff were Japanese and carefully explained everything I didn't understand. The medication was also explained properly, which made me feel at ease. The doctor also listened to my concerns about things other than my child's illness. I returned home feeling a little better after just arriving in Singapore, despite the anxiety I had felt.

My tonsils were swollen, had white pus, and was in terrible pain, probably tonsillitis, but they prescribed me regular general cold medicine and said to wait and see if the pain went away. When I asked for antibiotics, they gave me a lengthy explanation about how antibiotics aren't guaranteed to work, and the total cost for the consultation and medicine was $300. General cold medicine can be bought at the pharmacy, so I guess it was worth coming. I asked three times and they finally prescribed antibiotics, but it was very unpleasant. I felt their attitude was a little questionable for a private clinic. I don't want to come back multiple times, so I'm paying a lot of money for consultations, and maybe it's just this female doctor, but I don't think I'll be going back again.
PS: In the end, the pain went away within a day after I took the antibiotics. I'm glad I asked multiple times and they gave me the ones I needed.

I came to the clinic because I had a stiff lower back.
All the staff are fluent in Japanese, so I was able to make an appointment and get examined smoothly.
I also had rehabilitation treatment in the afternoon, and by the time I left, I felt much better.
However, the fee was quite high, around 110,000 yen in Japanese yen.
I would be horrified if I didn't have insurance.
Photos were taken only in places where it was possible, but everything is clean and tidy.

All the teachers speak Japanese, so I feel very safe. When my child was injured, they responded promptly and courteously.

I've been here about five times in the six months since I came to Singapore. Thank you so much.

Pediatrics is not recommended.
The teacher I had before was very good, but now... I was worried because I was often asked to wait and see what happened without any basis. Also, the infant health checkup was completed after 5 minutes. I was disappointed with the sloppy examination that didn't live up to the highest prices offered by Japanese clinics. Information about vaccinations was often ambiguous, which increased my anxiety.

The doctors are polite and reliable, but the prices for tests and medicines are quite high. For example, Rhinathiol costs $12 over the counter, but here I was charged $72.25.

I visited Dr. Umezato for my first consultation. Despite his busy schedule, he was very kind and patient with me, and his explanations were clear and thorough, which was very reassuring. Thank you very much. The advice he gave me was also very helpful, and I am very grateful. I would also like to thank the reception staff for their help in many ways. I would like to thank them again. The appointment was quickly arranged, and the instructions were accurate and smooth. Thanks to him, I was able to visit the clinic with peace of mind. Thank you for your kindness.

Clinic for Japanese people.
Receptionists are really kind and helpful, but unfortunately there are one doctor unfriendly and impatient, not comfortable to ask my concern honestly...
