Surprisingly fresh for a chained sushi spot. Scallop sushi was great, prices are cheap, and GrabPay gets you 10% off. Perfect for days when you want quick, affordable Japanese food.

Itacho Sushi is an absolute gem for comforting Japanese food at a great price point! I’m obsessed with the Mentaiko Scallop Baked Rice—it’s so rich, creamy, and flavorful, with perfectly cooked scallops that just melt in your mouth. The Spider Rolls are also a favorite—crispy soft-shell crab wrapped in fresh, tasty sushi. And how can I forget the Salmon Skin Sushi that’s forever on promotion? Savoury, and addictive—it’s always a must-have on my order list. The quality is pretty decent for the price, and it’s just a super hearty, nostalgic meal every time. Love it!

I went to Itacho Sushi for dinner. I got a queue by entering the number of people on their kiosk and waited. I ordered the seafood hot pot and sashimi they tasted very good and were very fresh. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. I would return.

Great place for Japanese food. Fresh fish. Good variety of fish. Reasonable prices for a location like this. The service was attentive and fast. When I struggled with the online ordering system, the staff offered to help me do it. Would definitely visit again.

Recommend coming here for a quick meal (bar counters available) or for small group gatherings. Staff are friendly, helpful and accede to special preferences (if you ask nicely of course!). Sushi here are generally very fresh; not the cheapest but not too pricey either.

This is now my go to place for sushi/sashimi whenever I'm in town. They may be a chain sushi shop but this outlet at ION can offer premium produce like miru gai, awabi and many seasonal specialties but at a fraction of those pretentious omakase restaurants all over town. If you order the good stuff like Uni, O torro, miru gai etc it won't be cheap but still these same wonderful produce costs you like 1/3rd the price charged by those fancy pancy sushi rest helmed by Jap chefs. Excellent service always by Mgr, Xiao Yun and colleagues.

There must be a reason why hand pressed sushi is more expensive but still hold its customers. So with this in mind I tried the sushi at itacho. I must say that hand pressed sushi made the rice and fish taste like a unified experience. The rice is soft and the fish coats it in the mouth. Have to control not to eat too many.
