Cheap eat at orchard area! No issues with service. Food is a little oily but at this price point nothing to complain about. Serving sizes were huge. My bowl was $6.30. will definitely come here frequently!

Nice cozy environment although things are quite old and slightly run down. Not a lot of people. Food is very affordable 2 plates for $7.70. Food options are quite a lot, with an option of Minced Meat Noodles or Mixed Vegetable Rice.Curry is quite spicy. The food portion is not bad. Not a bad place at all! Food is slightly oily tho. Highly recommended if you want value for money food at Orchard👍

Gotta confess, I had some trouble ordering coz everything looked so good. IMO the kang kong looked amazing and I knew I had to order it; the tomato egg also looked pretty sublime so I got that too. Lastly I decided on getting one meat and ended up betting on the fried pork (coz it looked pretty good too). And they were all turned out to be so satisfying! 😋 The kang kong was my fav - well cooked in terms of texture and full of flavours, I enjoyed every bite of it. The fried pork was delightfully tender and flavourful, albeit a little cold and not quite crispy (not surprising to me really). The fried egg had a nice molten texture, like in between solid and liquid state, and coupled wonderfully with the juicy sliced tomatoes. And the best thing of all - the price tag, I paid $4 for everything on the plate, could barely believe my ears actually. 😁 So, definitely coming back for more. 😋

Visited this place for breakfast on 28 July at 7.30am. They serves fried bee hoon, kway teow, prawn mee, bak chor mee and fish soup in the morning. I can tell most workers buy from this stall since they opened early. The seating area was rather worn out but it is good enough. Food is nice here but the price isn't that cheap for my order as it cost $5.50. Perhaps I should order less next time. I will try their prawn mee next time.

Food always 8/10. Price 8/10 Service 2/10 (especially the work almost 2 year PRC) she always very slow. Talk to her even in mandarin she still will take wrong food to you. Sometime talk to her is her mistake she still like to argue with customer. Few time saw by my eye. Sometime go there eat or takeaway I see her incharge for take food. I will change my mind go others place eat or taopok. Another 2 PRC w chubby abit they got no issue at all. Only this PRC always like to argue. I hope the manager incharge can talk to her. We Come almost daily. We have many people have some issue facing her

Isle cafe is situated on the ground floor of Far East Plaza and is the place to go to for inexpensive hot and cold beverage choices. Local food like noodles and rice is easily available and economical. They sell on the side snacks like buns and cakes too. Sometimes you can pretty decent butter and marble cake too. My usual noodles are prawn noodles which cost me $3.80. Cheap and good options are offered by the Isle Cafe in the heart of Scotts Road.

You know how the broth makes or breaks a prawn mee? These guys have nailed the broth. It's umami and rich, almost like a prawn bisque. Regular size comes with 3 prawns (not halves) and sliced pork. You can request for the sliced pork to be changed to fish cake. There's also tau gay and kang kung included.

Appreciate the affordable pricing when prices are so high everywhere. What impresses me most is how in the morning, a male staff with hair dyed blond, he can remember my order without me even ordering. (I patronise only about once a week). And even though there is no queue, he notices who reach first and still serves the drink accordingly, regardless if someone who came later tried ordering before the others.
