A delicate dish of fish and rice is prepared with various toppings and a pouring sauce.
Elegant private dining room with a large round table set for a meal.
Can’t believe this is a Michelin star restaurant. Service is not good…. Food presentation none….. whilst taste is not bad, it’s totally not worth to pay so much.
Plain water I have to pay $2.50++ each… $9 for 3 pax!!
PS: Just last night I went to Golden Peony, warm water was free! Service was great. Huge difference between the 2 Michelin star restaurants.

Mixed feelings… ordered the mixed platter (excellent), siew mai, radish cake, yam croquette, scallop noodles which were all good. BUT very disappointed with the xiao long bao. First tray that came … maybe we didn’t eat it immediately … the skin was stuck to the paper and broke apart and the precious broth flowed out! The manager kindly replaced with a new tray … this time we ate it immediately… but the skin was stuck to the paper again! Pretty disappointed 😢
Mixed feelings on service as well. Catherine who served us was excellent … the rest of the staff were not attentive and definitely not hospitality trained. There’s no prompt clearing away of dishes which I think is a min standard.
All said, the experience is pleasant just because of an excellent staff. Well done, Catherine!

A rare find in Singapore, Hua Ting serves up high quality Cantonese fare, justifying its high prices. All the dishes we ordered were great, making it an extremely satisfying meal! Portion sizes here are on the smaller side, so you can order more dishes to try out if your party size is big.
We ordered the:
• Peking Duck: Superb, the duck here seems to be leaner, so there isn't as much fat clinging to the skin, which makes it easier to eat.
• Steamed Squid Ink Dumpling: Good, the skin was made extremely well, very thin yet strong enough to hold all the filling.
• Baked Mango Chicken Tart: Delicious with an interesting taste, it tasted like a mix between a chicken pie and bolo bun.
• Char Siew Bun: Average.
• Siew Mai: Good, it tasted very fresh.
• Irish Duck: Amazing! I was really impressed by how tender and flavourful the duck was. This is a must order!
• Roasted Pork: This also impressed me, the meat was so tasty even without the fatty part and crisp skin. The portion was extremely small though.
• Wok-fried XO Turnip Cake: Not bad, the turnip cake itself tasted nice, the XO sauce wasn't really necessary. Would probably get the pan fried turnip cake next time.
• Bridge Lobster Rice Soup: The soup was super umami, I loved it. The pouring of the soup from the teapot was also visually appealing. Would definitely order this again.
• Lobster Braised Mee Pok: The flavour was quite good, though not as flavourful as the pao fan, so this should probably be eaten first. I was initially apprehensive as I thought mee pok wouldn't be the best choice of noodles, but the mee pok they used here matched the sauce well. It was thinner than usual so it absorbed the sauce better.
• Crispy Lychee Prawn Ball: Very tasty! This was really bursting with fresh prawns and was coated in a very thin layer of batter. In the middle of it was sweet and juicy lychee flesh which made for such a brilliant combination! The wasabi sauce provided was not bad, it wasn't overly pungent. Honestly though, the prawn ball itself was so good that I didn't even need the sauce.
Business was very good on a weekend. Seems that reservations must be made or it might be a bit difficult to get a seat.
Overall, Hua Ting is definitely a worthy of its place in the Michelin Guide. We will be back again, for sure!

The Dim Sum is worth trying, and the staff there are friendly and always provide their best services. With a small request for birthday cake for celebration is also well taken care of. Will go back and try other dishes again. Thank you so much.

Excellent meal, set and a la carte menus are both delicious. The pork rib is large and juicy and Garoupa rice is flavourful. Smoked pu-er peking duck was crispy and nice pancakes, though the meat was a tiny bit dry chppped and would choose another preparation. Terrific service by Jessica and Heng Qua.

Came to celebrate my wife and brothers birthday. Had the $118 set with family. Enjoyed the double boiled chicken soup, hor fun & mango sago. The goose web was a new experience too.
Website was outdated so they don't serve the birthday set anymore, but other than that, all was good.
Will definitely be back again!
