This teppanyaki outlet offers a decent meal, but don’t expect too much as it’s part of a food court. The dishes are prepared quickly and the flavours are there, but they lack the flair and finesse you’d typically find at a dedicated teppanyaki restaurant. The portion sizes are acceptable for the price, and the cooking is done right in front of you, except for the vegetable which I’m not
sure why. However, the ingredients could be fresher, and the overall experience feels quite basic. It’s a convenient option for a quick bite, but not something to go out of your way for.

I was very disappointed by my dinner here. Service was a big mess - cashier got my order wrong. For a teppanyaki that is free seating, no one bothered to check your order when you sat down, unlike similar places elsewhere. So how did they know what I ordered? By mentally remembering my face and this face ordered chicken and beef? True enough, because of the lack of a system to register who ordered what, they got our order wrong. Waiters were constantly unsure about whether they have placed the food at the right place. They would bring the food to you, looking left and right, erm, not sure if this is where the food is supposed to go? then putting it down hesitantly, completely unsure. Almost all our food was first served to someone else, then realised sent to wrong place and then only came back to us. Is it really so difficult to figure out how to do this? Also, if you sit at the wrong place, you will never get to see the chef cooking meat in front of you. This is again unlike other similar places.
The worst part of the dinner was the small portion of the chicken, and it was also very obvious to us that the portion of the beef we received was smaller than what they showed on the menu. For those who order the signature beef tenderloin steak, I suggest you count the number of beef you see on the photo and compare that with what is on your plate. Also, our chicken was lukewarm! Not hot at all! I will never come back to this place again.

This teppanyaki stall offers a decent meal if you’re looking for teppanyaki, something quick and convenient in the food court. The food is cooked right in front of you and the portion sizes are fair for the price. The flavours are good.

I recently discovered this Taiwanese Heniu Teppanyaki and I'm so glad I did. Compared to other express Teppanyakis, I was blown away by the quality here. The black paper beef tenderloin was very tender, and the flavors were perfectly balanced - not too salty, just right, accompanied by a generous serving of sides including stir-fried cabbage, beansprouts, and a warm bowl of soup. The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent option for a quick, nutritious and delicious meal.
It is in the Food-Republic Food court, so no GST and service fee, but it has comfortable sittings. I'd highly recommend it.

Experience the teppanyaki at Wisma foodcourt.
Service by the crew was good and the food cooked is delicious. Ordered the 2 pax menu ($54/$58)
Will Definately return for future craving of teppanyaki!

In comparison, the Taiwanese-Style Teppanyaki set meals offered by Heniu Teppanyaki are superior in taste and offer greater affordability than the equivalent offered by Express Teppanyaki prior to their recent price hikes and conversion of all outlets to Halal-certified establishments.
Their Signature Black Pepper Tenderloin Steak is a particularly noteworthy value for money, priced at an inclusive GST of $18.80. This exceptional value is significantly higher than the comparable set meal offered by a competitor, which typically exceeds $28.

The worst dining experience ever! I spent nearly 20 SGD, and it was absolutely not worth the price. I already felt it was overpriced when paying, but what shocked me even more was the portion size when the food arrived-it was ridiculously small. Is this really an adult-sized meal? It looked more like a kid's meal! I ordered a stir-fried beef and vegetable set meal with rice.
However, the amount of beef and vegetables was so little that it didn't meet any reasonable restaurant standards. What made it worse was the poor service. We also ordered a Coke and repeatedly asked the staff for ice. At that time, there were only me and my friend in the restaurant, yet we had to wait so long for the ice that it only arrived after the beef and vegetables were served. Such inefficiency is hard to understand!
What frustrated me the most was that the beef and vegetables weren't even cooked in front of us, but prepared out of sight and then brought to the table. This completely contradicted the experience we expected. Overall, whether it was the portion size, service efficiency, or value for money, this restaurant was a huge disappointment. For the same price, you can get a much larger portion and better quality beef set meal elsewhere. Trust me, this place is not worth trying!

I am a regular customer of this restaurant. The taste is really delicious, especially the squid, sliced beef, butter chicken chop and the vegetables. The value set meal at $54 has a lot of varieties and is really filling.
They don’t have GST and service charge too.
The service is also efficient, not the friendliest but at least efficient.
