Saw the croissants 🥐 and had to try! We ordered one of each flavour. The pandan ondeh ondeh is nice! But wasn’t a fan of the Bandung flavour. Yet to try the milo dinosaur and speculous. Had curry chicken rice too and ordered drinks! Will definitely be back again. 😊 …

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday, and crowd levels were relatively low. The ambience is pretty nice with good space and seats. Water is not complimentary.
🐔 Ayam Bakar ($8.50)
The portion size is relatively small, and it's served in a square plastic plate instead of a banana leaf. Taste wise is surprisingly good for the chicken. It's quite tender, and the meat falls off the bone. The slight charred fragrance and black sauce from the chicken is quite pleasant and pairs well with the rice.
Rice lacks coconut fragrance. Sambal with egg is leaning towards the sweet side and goes pretty well with the rice. I really liked the Achar vegetable at the side! Crunchy, sweet, and tart at the same time. It's very refreshing.
I rate: 3.5/5 🌟
🍜 Laksa ($7.80)
Portion size is small here too. Ingredients given are small crystal shrimps and a few pieces of fish cakes. No cockles here.
Gravy wise is leaning towards the coconut milk and savoury side. Tastes even better with the sambal. But nothing out of the ordinary.
I rate: 3/5 🌟

I have to say their toast bread is still one of the best in Singapore very nostalgia and flavor is perfect with the bread toasted to crispy texture. Coffee and tea is larger portion than usual and slightly on the pricey side but overall is am excellent tea time snacks.

This place has that kind of old school feeling but is quite nice…. Unfortunately the staff on duty was quite impatient, probably due to volume of order and work stress…
I ordered a Teh C less sugar but ended up with one that was so sweet :-(
Seats are not really comfortable & whole place could be quite noisy so not an ideal place for private chat but more like for a quick bite and a cup of coffee or tea 🤓

Heavenly Wang is my go to place for coffee and toast in town (Killiney Kopitiam is the other) because of its crispy toasts and generous amount of kaya and butter. Their coffee also packs a good punch. Eggs could have been better seasoned - I suppose you are no longer allowed to season your own eggs due to covid.
Three stars instead of four as the service was absolutely dismal. Tables were not cleared and cashier straight up ignores you when you are standing right in front of her. She takes her time to touch things here and there before taking your order. I tried to clear my plates after eating as other customers were waiting for a table but the counter was stacked to the brim - they were not even helping themselves. I ended up leaving the dishes on the table.

Excellent place for a rest with large cup of drink. The prata is the best here I think with options for curry with or without chicken. While it is a bit oily but the crispiness and the taste is not lesser than those prata stores. The seats are well spaced apart just no place to return the trays properly. Price is on the higher side but can be due to their rent.

I like their Kaya butter toast and copi.
There r sofa seats other than chairs, then also they set paper napkins for free for customers’ convenience other than cutlery,as rarely seen in other local coffee shops in my experiences in Singapore short life.
Then the ambiance was comfortable for tea or coffee break.
With easy access,so I’d like to visit again as one of regular customers from now on.

In the 2nd,the taste was the same as the last visit.Tasty.however,this time there was no paper napkins,I’m not sure it was just out of stock in accident or not.
Still I’d like to be a regular customer there for kaya butter toast set.

Heavenly Wang at Plaza Singapura closed down a few months ago. I had to look for an alternative nearby outlet. The nearest to where I am is the Heavenly Wang at Ngee Ann City. Easily found and rather spacious compared with the cramped seats at Plaza Singapura (PS). It was tea time on a Friday afternoon, I ordered Tuna Melt Set. Its more pricey than the same set when I ordered at Plaza Singapura. I don’t mind paying more coz location is different but the quality of the set I ordered is different. Except the half boiled eggs, the rest are below the expected standard. The teh C served was luke warm. Chances are they didn’t warm up the cup before pouring the tea with cold or room temperature evaporated milk. Also, the preparation of tea seems poor, too diluted, in my opinion. The tuna melt was also lukewarm. I don’t know why but it was baking hot when I had it at PS and here, it lacks the flavour from heat required to make the tuna toast melt in the mouth.
Think the management of this outlet need to improve the way food is prepared and served. I will give this outlet a chance to improve. Will come here once more to check the quality of food served. If still the same as today, then I will rule out coming here ever again.

Had the traditional kaya butter toast and teh for breakie. Loved eating some kaya toast after ages and the teh was better than I expected it. However nothing special in its taste or quality.
The service was a bit chaotic and I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what's happening.

Last option to go if there isn’t any as usually manned by foreigners that don’t care what variant of coffees u ordered and your coffee will always be black. They will also charged u the most expensive cup without asking u if u would prefer a large cup. You asked them and they will talk back to you. Making it your fault for not telling them you want a small cup. Good luck to the owner as this regular joint has now dropped to last option since they hand over to foreigners workers to run it like a factory canteen. Rude and bad expensive coffees.
