Great thing about this chicken rice stall is they allow Roast & White chicken to be mixed for the half chicken portion at $24. Personally my spouse and I find the white chicken tastier than the roast while both are good. We got a salted veg duck at $7+ and everything was very satisfying for 2 adults! We love the amazing well-flavoured rice which isn’t mushy or hard!
We love that we could get a filling, delicious and high protein meal at about $30 in town area and will definitely come back again when I’m in the area!
Though I won’t be ordering the Salted Veg Duck soup again as the veg is a little too chunky and strong in flavour for me. I prefer my salted veg chopped in smaller pieces for a milder salted veg flavour.

The hainan rice is very bland, not oily. Bagi kami, kurang wangi.
We were party of 5 adults and 2 children. We ordered half half roasted and steam chicken. 5 hainam rice. Tofu and gizard and eggs. It is enough for all of us. The portion is quite big and fair for the price.
The uncle and aunt are very helpful and accomodated the guests.
We came on lunch time, already to wait to be seated for 15 mins.

The uncle is rude as hell. Don’t expect much from a hawker style place but slamming plates is not acceptable. Do not spend your hard earned cash is places that have so much attitude and ego.

I’ve been eating here for about 2 decades since school days and it’s still as enjoyable. Chicken is tender and all the dishes are flavourful. There’s usually a queue at meal times but it moves fast as you expect to share tables. Prices are very reasonable considering its location and inflation over the years. Will continue to dine here for the food and nostalgia!
