French Fold Orchard is a cozy and contemporary crêperie nestled in the heart of Orchard, Singapore. Blending French culinary techniques with Japanese precision, it offers both sweet and savoury galettes made with premium ingredients. The relaxed, minimalist interior creates a warm ambiance, perfect for brunch or a light evening meal. Popular menu highlights include the umami-rich Chilli Crab galette and the indulgent Hazelnut Praline crêpe. Whether you’re a crêpe connoisseur or a curious foodie, French Fold delivers a refined yet accessible dining experience. With attentive service and artisanal coffee, it’s a charming spot for casual catch-ups or solo indulgence.

I noticed a disparity in service, when a table of two guests arrived shortly after me, they received a full introduction to the restaurant’s signature dishes and menu, while I received no such briefing. It felt a bit dismissive. The food was okay. The salad, however, was disappointing, the citrus component was mushy, either overripe or mishandled and smelt abit off. Service staff were polite, but nothing stood out. Some seemed slightly annoyed, and overall, there was a lack of warmth or engagement. What truly ruined the experience for me was the hygiene issue, I found a dirty paper napkin in the cutlery basket, with a brown stain on the bottom. For a restaurant, especially one serving food where hygiene is critical, this was unacceptable. Overall, while the ambiance and some elements of the food were decent, service inconsistencies and the hygiene lapse made this visit disappointing. Would never return.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, but we didn't have to wait long (less than 15 minutes) to get the seats at the non-air-conditioned area. When we sat down, they told us to order from a QR code, but when we scanned it, it showed a bill. We tried very hard to get the waiter's attention and finally he came over and said he would resolve the issue. Afterwards he told us to scan the QR code again but the previous bill was still there. Finally, we ordered from the staff. Throughout the lunch, the wait staff were not attentive and it was difficult to get their attention. Other than the service, the food was surprising good. We ordered their signature crepe-like food, which was crispy and savoury. They also have dessert crepes. The ambiance was nice too. Despite being a hot day, the al fresco area was cool with the ceiling fan.

Had a wonderful brunch at French Fold. The galettes were absolutely delicious, perfectly crisp on the outside with hearty fillings inside. I tried the one with egg, spinach, ham, and cheese, and it was rich yet well-balanced, while my partner’s came with a sunny egg, ham, and mushrooms, equally satisfying. The atmosphere was cozy yet modern, with a relaxed brunch vibe that made the whole experience enjoyable. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and our food arrived promptly and beautifully plated. Highly recommend French Fold if you’re looking for an authentic French-style brunch with a chic and comfortable setting. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Managed to walk in on a Saturday afternoon with barely any wait. The servers were also really kind to my pregnant wife, making her feel as comfortable as possible. We were also informed of possible menu alterations for her dietary restrictions. The galettes were also super crispy and we really enjoyed the carbonara one. Overall, a great lunch experience!

Nice food, good service. The tables a bit tiny and they have some sofa seats which aren’t practical to have a meal. The galettes and crepes are fantastic. Lots of options both savoury and sweet. The staff can make recommendations as well, if you’re not sure about what to try.

Came here for a family dinner and we absolutely love the galettes. Our favourite was the haddock one. The poached pear crepe was also amazing! The staff are all very attentive and friendly.

This was my first time trying a galette, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The savory combination of the thin, crisp crepe with haddock, cream, and a touch of lemon juice introduced a refreshing flavor to me. The salted caramel and grilled almond crepe dessert provided a satisfying and indulgent at the end of the meal.

Amazing service. I absolutely love the Galettes here, the seasoning and combinations with the crepe was amazing. The Pork Sausage with caramelised onions hit the spot and kept me wanting more. We chose the Caramelised Apples Crepe as well, but it was just decent!

The initial dining experience was pleasant. The restaurant is strategically situated in Orchard, offering ample seating both indoors and al fresco. The ambience is generally commendable. Food quality is satisfactory, with notable freshness of ingredients. Although portion sizes seem modest relative to pricing, they would suffice for smaller appetites. Crepes exhibited desirable softness and oiliness. Galettes were rich in flavour, while chicken burgers were adequate. Beverages, including sparkling and plain water, are available at $1 per bottle. Service was exemplary, characterized by assertiveness and enthusiasm. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, albeit with reservations regarding serving sizes.
