Ordered the beef stew from the western stall here. Taste wise it’s decent. But the menu is misleading, it says there’s carrot/onion/celery. U would expect to see some vegetables right? The person says it’s already blended into the stew. The stew is like one thin layer at the bottom only. Also the lady in front of me complained about sand in several clams in her pasta.

Skeptical about the reason behind this business?
You aren't alone!!
In SG, many such shops exists...but no one cares
Any Laundromat services?

There were three people in line including me. None of us saw the “chilled item plus $0.20” written in some corner of the chiller.
While I walked to the back to find the unchilled items tagged at the same price as the chilled ones………. The two other folks paid the $0.20 as they were too lazy to change their selection.
Also - the products aren’t even premium enough to warrant the premium brand.
AND!! the auntie still nagged us when we all admitted we didn’t see the chilled item tag. Hello just charge us and be done with it. Don’t nag.

The service by all the staff seen was excellent; price and range (striploin, ribeye, tenderloin) for grass-fed beef is even better than Giant where I usually shop at and when it rains, I do not need to use the umbrella or get wet by using the level 2 linkway from Centrepoint. They have many cashier counters but only the main one is operational which is fine. Requesting for Illy's coffee in their retail cafe outlet.

Nice and quiet spot on Saturday weekend before 12 pm.
Thereafter, the crowd descends especially with the opening of the warabi mochi next door.
Good variety of local food in an aircon setting.
I go for the teh si kosong( tea with milk , without sugar)
Char kuay teow has wok hei taste to it :
Meaning, the charred burnt smell/taste to it.
I prefer the white carrot cake at this outlet.
