Got my hair coloured by director stylist Sean. Told him I wanted to perm and colour my hair. But he recommended doing it on different days if I wasn’t in a rush as it may be too damaging for the hair to receive too many chemical treatment in a day. So I got a hair cut and hair colour.
I showed him a reference picture of what I wanted from another salon only to find out that they had misleading captions. E.g the hair colour was so light the hair probably had some toning done (as you shouldn’t bleach your hair if you’re gonna perm it) and that the curls looked more like styling curls than a perm. What a bummer! But we managed to work things out. With the reference picture he gave me a straight cut with little layers so I could get a fuller perm and a perm like the one in the picture on my next appointment. I also told him I didn’t want my hair too short so he constantly checked back with me if the length was okay as he cut my hair. That’s pretty thoughtful. He even taught me how to change the parting of my stubborn hair and reaffirmed my decision to change my parting as it had more volume and the constant same parting has resulted in a receding hairline at my original parting.
Apparently, my hair had 3 distinctive section of colours - which I didn’t noticed till he pointed out. So he helped me dye to the even out the colours by coming applying dye to my hair at multiple time interval.
Also, dusol beauty being a korean hair salon, was I afraid there was a language barrier? Yes. But I managed to converse pretty well with Sean to get my desired look.

Don't come here is you are expecting a Korean cut - I was looking for a Korean salon and I remember coming here years ago and loved it. Their website stated that they have Korean stylists, and I just wanted to a simple treatment and trim. The treatment is fine, but the cut is disappointing - probably my worse haircut in years.
I was attended by Calvin, his service is ok but he is just way lacking in skill: before he cut my bangs, I thought it looked kinda suss from the way he is taking so much of my hair that I stopped him, but he convinced me that its to "even out my bangs" - I can't express how awful my hair looked, and I had to get him to try to fix it, but I am still stuck with very weird short hair at the side of my head (I have long hair). Not only that, they had to fix the lights while I was having my haircut and I was fearing for my haircut because my hair was being still being cut with the lights off for some time. Anyway for $85, this does not cut it. Just no. Don't come here.

Making appointment at Dusol is very fast,fuss free & easy.Tip: You can always ask your favourite stylist for their number & they will gladly give it to you if you are more comfortable to make appointment with the friendly stylist.Otherwise,you can make appointment via online or calling to the outlet directly.
I did colouring,haircut & went through the cool aqua punch treatment.The experience with the aqua punch is so relaxing that I feel it’s so comfortable to sleep & for some reason,I feel my hair is so much softer & it cleanse my scalp.Do give it a try,I highly recommend it.
Edward did a incredible job at doing my hair as I have very troublesome hair which always misbehave as my hair tend to grow too fast,too much & I believe most of the ladies can relate to having a bleached hair making it frizzy all the time.He suggested cutting it layer to maintain the ‘too much’ hair so I just leave my hair fate to him & it turns out to be so much lighter.It’s such a relief as my head does not feel heavy anymore.
As I’m doing colour,it’s always important to know that it does not fade into a ugly sight whereby there’s yellowish thing for the hair.After 1 mth,I’m so glad the colour did not fade into a horrible colour but it’s still very natural healthy looking brown so that is amazing to know.

Always a pleasant experience after each haircut. Sean is a great hairstylist who is able to create volume with my limp hair and match the right hair colour for my pale complexion. Definitely highly recommended. :D

I have now had my hair fixed at another salon after my disaster with DuSol Beauty. After getting chemical burns, yellow hair and dry and damaged hair, I had my hair rescued by a team of professionals. If anyone is looking for a decent place to get their hair done, please message me.

It's clean, in a quiet mall that's not interested in really attracting any walk in business.
And that's the way I feel about this place too. I think their clientele already know their hair stylists and just follow them here.

I've been looking for a place to do my hair for a while since I used to swim and have very stubborn hair. I've been to all the others and Dusol is by far the best! My hair is fully healed and has never looked better. Highly recommended!

A desaster!
Hair color failed, I came with a specific request of tie and dye violet for my hair, I had an picture, I explained, She told me "yes yes I can do it" in the end I ended up with a rainbow of color, blue purple blonde, two discolorations and a delineation of purple very marked. they tried to correct once, but it was worse. I have to clarify that I had a wedding the same evening ... I paid $ 250 to look like a unicorn. I went back the next day to save things and came out with a darker color than my original color, and damaged hair more than ever. Not a single discount was offered to me, I had no excuses. It is pitiful and unacceptable. a lack of aberrant professionalism.
