My favourite Hong Kong milk tea and egg tarts (served warm) at tsui Wah newly opened an outlet at The Cathay (so convenient, dhoby ghaut mrt station walk a bit can reach). The iced yuan yang drink also big cup and nice. The chicken wing a bit on the sweet side. The kagoshima-style pork cartilage and wanton noodles Mixian is so yummy, the meat so tender and soft. Easy to park at plaza singapura too.

Visit 1: This is my first time stepping into Tsui Wah. Had the breakfast set. Dared not order coffee cos I can’t accept coffee of lower standard than Yakun. I ordered tea with evaporated milk. It didn’t disappoint. The toasted bun was great too except too much butter. One slice of triangular piece on the toast would be sufficient. The toast was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The half boiled egg was done well too, just the kind that I like, not so watery. The service staff was helpful and atmosphere not bad. I like the soft cantonese ballad being played in the background. I like that it is spacious. I really enjoyed my breakfast here this morning. Will return for meals in future, definitely for the breakfast set. Visit 2: Came here for breakfast with my sister & brother in law. We had an enjoyable breakfast.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tsui Wah. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was excellent — the scallion oil chicken chop rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the wonton egg noodles were light, springy, and full of authentic flavour. I also appreciated the spacious and comfortable seating, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A great place to relax and enjoy delicious Hong Kong-style comfort food — I’ll definitely be coming back!

As a regular customer of Tsui Wah since my time in Hong Kong, I have always appreciated the brand's efficiency and food quality. I visited the Cathay outlet recently and was initially impressed by the junior staff, who were polite and attentive. However, the experience was ruined by the manager. When I politely inquired about cutlery, the manager shouted at me and pointed aggressively toward the cutlery stack instead of assisting or speaking professionally. Having frequented Tsui Wah in HK, I know they are famous for efficiency, but they still maintain basic respect. To be shouted at by a manager in Singapore is unacceptable. I hope the management looks into her, specific individual's conduct. Visit date and time: 13 dec 330 to 4pm

Food was decent, but we have tried better HK food before in Singapore so couldn't rate it a five-stars. Staff are mostly attentive and approachable despite is full house.

Been wanting to visit this branch since its newly opened. Nice spacious area. The food is as nice as the one at Heeren outlet. However, the manager is quite unfriendly. His face was so grumpy and gave an unwelcomed vibe. Good thing is the service staff is nice and friendly. Unlikely to visit this place again although I like the quiet ambience here.

Tsui Wah is one of our fave HK eateries and we often go to the Jewel or Clarke Quay outlets. This was our first time at their newest outlet in The Cathay. We did not really like the decor as it felt canteen like. The staff were okay, though there was a little mix up with our order. We arrived just after their breakfast sets were over, so I ordered their new opening exclusive set of two fried eggs with scallion on pork chop and rice. To be honest, this was not a great tasting dish. The eggs were okay, especially with the black soy sauce, but the pork chop was not marinated well and was tough to cut and chew. The missus' King prawns in XO sauce noodles was much better, and we also liked the usual crispy bun with condensed milk. I did not like the iced lemon tea with bitter gourd that came with the set. Our lunch was $47, which was definitely not on the cheap side.

I had the mala prawn mi xian, BBQ pork fried rice and the kaya condensed milk bun. The mala soup had a good kick and the prawns were fresh, though I wish the broth was a bit richer. The fried rice was fragrant and the BBQ pork gave it nice flavour, with the sauces and chilli served on the side. The kaya condensed milk bun was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Portions felt a little small but service was quick, so overall still a decent meal.

We have been having Tsui Wah for years, usually at the Heeren or Jurong outlet, so it is great to see a new branch open at Cathay. This outlet is more spacious, and the food quality is just as good as ever. Service is excellent too, keep it up!
