Far East Fine Arts (also known as Cho's Shop) is located on the third floor of Lucky Plaza in Orchard. The building is quite chaotic, so it might be a little hard to find. You can see Cho's name faintly on the right side of the photo (lol). I arrived a little after 1 p.m. The shop was bustling with Japanese customers. All the items were cheaper than at other souvenir shops, and there were many original Cho's items, so it was really hard to choose. My favorite was the pouch. It has three pockets and comes in three sizes. It came in a wide variety of colors, and the Peranakan bead embroidery was especially cute! I thought it would make a perfect souvenir for a woman. I think masking tape and other small items for giveaways were often priced at $10 for three. Apparently Peranakan-embroidered drawstring bags and handkerchiefs are also popular. Most importantly, the Cho couple were so kind that I was able to buy what I wanted after much deliberation! They will explain a lot about the products, and when you ask "Do you have this color?" they will say "Yes we do! Just wait a moment!" and bring out a huge amount of products (lol). They even give you small bags to divide them into. Recommended for women who want to buy lots of souvenirs.

I went there today, and it was great - cheap, high quality and above all else!!! And most of all, I was moved by Mr. Cho's kindness. I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Singapore! It was great! (Located on the 3rd floor of Lucky Plaza)

It was a little hard to find, but it was on the third floor. He made it himself and even drew the pictures. It was really nice. I was able to use the cards.

It's cheaper than other souvenir shops. Mr. Cho is friendly and brings out various other colors from the back. I went there because I wanted a perfume bottle, but they didn't have much in stock at the time, and he said they would have lots in stock in September. I recommend checking this out first, and if they don't have it, checking out Arab Street. The Peranakan goods were also cheap. They packed my items well too.

We visited on the last day of our trip to Singapore. The store closes at 4 PM, but we arrived around 3:30 PM, so we were feeling a bit rushed while browsing. A kind staff member kindly said, "Take your time and look around." The store itself isn't huge, but it has a lot of great items, and as Cho herself said, they were much cheaper than tourist prices. Items are about 1.5 to 2 times the price at the airport. (Cups that cost $6.90 at the airport were selling for $10 for three here.) They also sell items featuring Cho's drawings and items embroidered with his wife? They also sell items you won't find anywhere else. This shopping mall itself has a local feel, so it's a little difficult to get to, but I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Orchard.
