If you are gonna run the shop like a tyrant, then maybe you should not be in the service business. The staff/mgmt probably read the previous review about not informing customers about the “no food and drink” policy, because we were told so when we walked in with a friend holding a drink, and was treated rudely when we tried to order something to sit down at the cafe - the lady was busy with her “paperwork” and did not want to take our order and made us wait for a good 3 mins. The whole time when we were there, we felt gazes from the counter but we shook it off. When we were about to leave, my friend took a sip of her outside coffee for the first time in the shop, and the lady sprung up on us telling us that “other customers are complaining why they are letting outside food and drink into the premises” and basically chased us out. I just want to management to know that 1. We bought 2 SUBPAR drinks at the exorbitant price of $7 each but because my friend took ONE sip of her outside drink, we are forced to leave? Is this how you treat paying customers? 2. You need to invest more on staff training because your staff are power tripping and leaving a bad impression on your brand. 3. You’re in F&B, not a detention center. Rules can be enforced, but not to be followed blindly. TLDR; rude staff, shit drinks, don’t bother spending your hard earned money here.

was very disappointed by the service from a look like manager. was there on Monday, I want in line to pay for my sourdough. Served by a very inattentive staff. I was standing in front of the cashier for around 3mins. I’ve been to the outlet couple of times, this young Chinese staff with braces had been very patient with my queries about the ongoing deals.( the tues grab discounts/ member promotion) she was busy that time when I arrived at the outlet, but the lady behind wearing black long sleeve with glasses, whom I assume is the manager, still did not come forward to help her at all. She was behind the washing area using the laptop and her phone. I don't think that is what a manager shld be doing. A manager should be the one in charge and coming forward when seeing the staff is in need. I feel like the chinese in braces might do a better job as a manager instead based on how she interact with the customers. After the Chinese staff called out to her for a few times, she came and serve me. After serving me she went back and continued with her laptop ignoring that there’s still customers. The poor Chinese staff had to juggle all cashiers, bread slicing and making of coffee by herself. Cedele should look into this and keep those that can help company rather than putting a manager that cannot help with their own staffs.

1. Tried their scone (bread or scone?). At S$4.0 a piece and serve bare, without jam or butter. Focaccia roasted chicken with mozzarella (whatever), quite tasteless. Matcha latte quite watered down. With such small tables, reminded me I am in a kindergarten setting. Will need tremendous improvement.
