The problem is that it takes a little time because it is a one-time operation. It's also a shame to handle money with oily gloves. I can't help it, but I'm alone.

Glad it opened a branch in town. Been wanting to try the main branch but never had the chance to. First visit definitely have to try the buttrmilk original. Didn't wait for long before it was ready. I have mixed reviews over this dish. The waffles I could have easily given a 4 or 4.5 but the chicken was the one which I would give a 2.5 to 3. The chicken was crispy on the outside but it was very dry in the inside and meat was a little tough. I also agreed that the portion of the chicken was a little small indeed. The waffles was really good and enjoyed it a lot with the maple syrup. It was also quite difficult to eat the dish as they provided disposable cutlery which was hard to cut the waffle and the chicken, and also they gave a spoon and a fork instead of a knife. I like the waffle it was crispy but would I visit here again for the food? Not sure since there are so many other options around and it's not memorable.

Good value and good location. Paid $7.50 for a fried meaty chicken breast and full waffle. Comes with honey on the side. Batter was good on the fry. Good seasoning and tasty overall. Next time I’ll dry the dark meat cuz the breast was dry for my liking. Waffle hit home, golden and crusty.

The food was scrumptious & mouthwatering, it is a must go for those who like waffle + fried chicken and what makes it stand out more is the add-ons fries/tater tots for only $2. The restaurant itself is a 3 in 1, they sell Pizzas, Subs, Burgers, Waffle and Pastas give me a feel of fusion from different cuisine. The chicken is really BIG. the only downside is that the tables are very dirty as the previous consumer who uses the table dirty it.

Ordered for delivery but couldnt find one under Square 2. Was amazed with the packaging but the foods really cannot make it! While still warm, the chicken was already really so hard and dry to chew, whats worse is that it became even harder to chew and consume when it is cold! The fries, they mixed the old fries with the new fries, hello? Please do the proper job instead of bochup. No idea how did it even win as best fried chicken and yet the chicken received are completely dry like rock.

Was interested to try this after I walked past she saw it plus saw some social media posts. Didn’t realize the price until I reached there. For $7.50 the chicken & waffles at a food court is pretty pricey. If you compare the portion size and the quality with the pricing, it’s pretty steep. If they threw in some like corn cup with butter and made it a set for $7.50, I think it’s more value for money and more filling. Frankly, I was left hungry after this because the portion is so small. When hot, the waffle I must say was crisp outside and fluffy inside. It was nice with the syrup. The chicken breast was quite small and deceiving from the way it was arranged, you think you get a large piece of chicken but it’s only half the size of the half waffle. I’m a fan of chicken breast and my favorite cut of chicken but this one was quite dry even though the seasoning was ok. The edges were so dry that it was difficult to chew. I enjoy such American food but it’s not the greatest one for me despite the so-called affordability. The burgers were quite expensive $8.50 for ala carte and with fries $10.50. Might as well bump up a bit and go for 5 guys. At least I know guaranteed tasty burger there. This one I have no confidence.

(See pic) I paid $8.50 for the cheeseburger with fries. Not worth it. Diameter of burger was just a tad bigger than my palm. Patty meat was loose and it turned up quite some sinewy bits. Flavor was mainly just… salted? And the cook did nothing to improve it. The bun was cold, like it was served straight out of the packaging. Fries were dry and a mix of mainly odd-length pieces, and just a little warm (like they had been waiting for the burger after being fried). Next time, I would spend my money at McD (which I already don’t think well of).

My favourite stall in Shaw House Food Republic. The chicken and waffles are delicious and complement each other extremely well. Love mixing the savoury with the sweet. And the top-notch maple syrup adds to the yums. The fries and chicken tenders are also fantastic. All in all, Buttermilk @ Shaw House, Food Republic is most certainly worth checking out! :)
