We booked the restaurant to celebrate our 25th year wedding anniversary.
We took the $268 set dinner and added on foie gras ($20) for one of our dinner set, and changed one of the dessert to cheese truffle.
All the dishes are wonderfully made, and even the bread basket (uniquely in a cloth pouch) is warm and hot, with specially made bread spread.
The service is amazing and special mentioned to Louis who has made our experience really enjoyable.
We also had Yamanaka-san who personally served us for one of the dishes.
The downside for the place is that it is a small restaurant and seatings are quite closed to one another. It's no issue for us and we mingled with other patrons.
Highly recommended.

We want to Beni for a milestone birthday and were absolutely not disappointed. The food was amazing & visually beautiful plus the service was great. The degustation menu was incredibly well balanced and curated. And the selection of matching wines also complimented the menu brilliantly.

Went for the 5 course lunch menu topped up with Hokkaido Scallop as recommended by Chef. I would say its nice to dine in Beni because the ambience is good and i like the concept of an open kitchen where you can see the chef preparing the food right in front of you.
The bread course was great with salted egg butter. The cauliflower puree with ika was also something that surprises me.
But the one that somewhat caught my attention was the unassuming mushroom soup with truffle yet it taste like chanwamushi 💯. This was really so good. Afterthat there is no looking back as the hokkaido scallop with truffle was equally great as well
No worries u wont get overdose from the truffle and finally one of the mains which is the fish course of the day. Extremely like the cripsy fish skin with the fish and you can literally get the ASMR sound of the crispy fin.
The dessert on the other other hand may not be suitable for all due to the red wine reduction taste. I felt that it was abit too overpowering for me because i would expect something lighter. Nonetheless the petite four ends of the meal well.
Overall, its still a nice meal.

The table seating was cozy but chilly. There were only a very limited number of tables (probably for 3 couples) and I guessed their selling point was the counter seats overseeing the kitchen.
The 6 courses lunch menu was deliciously curated but could burned a hole in your wallet. The choices in their wine list (including sake) paired well with the cuisines. The Hira Suzuki fish was one of the mains. It was fresh and very balance in taste. The accompanying prawn provided a nice touch of taste contrast to the dish.
The waiting staffs were polite and professional and our dishes were always clearly described. Free tap water was also available on request.

Some changes to the menu itself. Menu is very refreshing, akin like the Spring season. As always, hostess & chef hospitality are the best. To us, their food, restaurant atmosphere, relationships between staffs & us are what made us being their regulars.
