Bought a couple of times at raffles outlet and at Centrepoint. Went today during lunch and was served by a Chinese nationality cashier + older auntie who was mending the waffle station. I guess they were overwhelmed by lunch order so the cashier took over the waffle station to try speed up the process. But the waffle made wasn’t as thick and fluffy like what I was expecting, it was thinner and darker. Even the spread was barely noticeable and cream cheese was yellow alike butter instead of the regular whitish colour. When asked if the spread was right, she said their cream cheese is made in house hence the colour difference and asked if I can’t tell the difference between butter/cream cheese. If I could, I wouldn’t have clarified + it doesn’t even taste like cream cheese. I bought their waffle on a separate day, the filling looks wayyyy different and serving was definitely better. Moving forward, I wouldn’t purchase if it’s the same Chinese cashier lady 🤦🏻♀️ or maybe just get from raffles itself
