This was my first visit to Aube, and I specifically requested Hiro as my stylist. I came in for a haircut and wanted to try a C-curl. Hiro was incredibly patient with all my questions and recommended adding layers — I absolutely love the result!
After the cut, I went for the Tokio digital perm (S-curl) to achieve the look I wanted, especially since I’ve had rebonding done before, followed by a treatment. My hair now feels so natural and light — I’m really happy with how it turned out!

This was my first visit to the salon, and I had a great experience with my stylist Hiro. He is meticulous, taking the time to check my hair texture and understand my requirements, and he clearly explained each step of the process. After my first wash at home, the perm didnt turned out as what i expected, and I shared my concerns with him. He responded with professionalism and offered to rework my perm to ensure I am happy with the result. Now the perm is fabulous 素晴らしい! I appreciate his patience, care, and dedication. Highly recommended!

Another masterful cut and color by Hiro-San! Hiro-San had been my hairstylist from many years ago, ever since he salvaged my poorly cut hair from another salon. He executes each cut with meticulousness and precision, a true professional and master. To execute a good cut already requires exceptionally masterful skills, and I’d say to salvage one gone wrong takes his skills to a much higher level!
Hiro-san does such an expert masterful cut and that is easy to maintain, I am always completely at ease as I know that I can fully entrust my hairstyling to Hiro-San. If anyone is looking for a trusted hairstylist, I highly recommend my hero (pun intended) Hiro-San!

would not recommend this salon.
i went to get my hair coloured in july, and i told the hairstylist that i didn’t want to bleach my hair as i wanted to get a perm in october. they said okay and we proceeded with colour first, which in the end was nothing special but acceptable.
i then went to a different salon overseas to do a hair treatment, and they told me my hair was too bleached for a perm, to which i was confused since i didn’t do any bleaching.
regardless, i contacted aube again today to ask for a perm appointment, but told them what the other salon told me. i sent them a photo of my hair and they also told me that my hair was too bleached and damaged, to which i said i specifically asked for no bleach previously, so did they bleach my hair regardless then? they subsequently reverted back and said that actually, there was no bleach. this is such a red flag — for them to damage my hair beyond repair just months before my wedding, and now no salon will take me in for perming, which was exactly what i was trying to avoid when i first visited them in july.

Went for a CNY update with my favourite hair stylist Tomoyo. Very impressed with her excellent product knowledge, colouring and precise cutting skills. Feel very at ease with her and always leave with beautiful luscious hair. Would highly recommend Tomoyo as a dedicated professional for a regular update or a makeover.

Has been a while and I have finally found a gem. AUBE hair salon by their japanese stylists did not disappoint me at all. It was my first time.Hiro was my stylist. I had a disaster haircut before as such the layered and the haircolour was all too different. Hiro was able to tirm all the cuts and has used 3 different hair colour tone to blend my hair colour into one. The service from wash, cut and colour was done by the sylist himself. So no time loss. He was so professional and understood what I really needed. I am glad that I found AUBE to fix my haircut and colour. Thank you and hope to visit again the very next time when I am in town.

My friend recommended Hiro to me and this is the 3rd time I had my hair cut by him. I must say he is attentive to what you would like to have and will give you his opinions after listening to you. So far the cut has been to my satisfaction and can last for about 3 months as it grows out nicely :) Hiro can also speak pretty good English, hence there is no problem in communication if you do not know Japanese.
