Chinese economical rice stall - food was cold (not just lukewarm but refrigerated cold). When I complain they try to tell me it's normal for Singapore. Obviously rubbish!

Went for a quick bite on a sunday afternoon because of a tech appointment nearby. The place was very packed as usual. Ordered their smashed chicken at nasi padang shop stall. Tasted meh. It was so much better pre-covid19. Price wise was very steep at $7.50 you got a smashed chicken without the flakes, a vegetable side, steam rice, and sambal. It should have came with a bowl of soup but they removed it. So for the price, you actually get less of what they advertised. Not worth of the hype or crowding yourself to get a table at the place.

The mixed rice stall was a no no! Ordered the pork dish and only have 3 slices of pork and then the rest was the onions! The two vege I ordered was cold like ice. The guy tried to ask me order their fish which is $4plus luckily i didn't order! First and last time visiting it!

Asian Food Mall is a food court in Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road where there are food stand that serves variant of Asian food, such as Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, and many more. We came here for late dinner on a Sunday night, and it was quite crowded. I saw one Chinese noodle stall with good smell and crowd named Ban Mian, so that I decided to try this one. Ban Mian serves variant of Chinese noodle both dried and with soup. We could also choose the meat, such as pork, chicken, beef, seafood. I tried Mee Sua (面线) for SGD 4.50. For this menu, we could choose the topping either beef or pork. I chose pork. This mee sua serves in a clear broth with pork, vegetables, fried onions, and crispy anchovies. Overall, the mee sua tastes good, but I think the salty crispy anchovies do not really suit with this menu.
