Meloh CC
A few months ago, I found a chiropractic clinic on Google during my search for options. The clinic is located in Orchard Towers and has an old-fashioned exterior. However, the inside of the clinic is clean and bright. A cheerful receptionist greeted me as soon as I walked in, which left a very good impression. The chiropractor, Dr. Luke Ho has a lively and engaging personality, though he can be a bit overwhelming with his stories. He often shares his personal anecdotes, such as his experiences in boarding school as a child, his background as a musician, his plans to move to Bukit Timah for a prestigious primary school, and his religious beliefs. However, in terms of treatment, I found that Dr Luke Ho has poor bedside manners. He tends to interrupt me while I am explaining my issues and doesn't seem to listen attentively. His joking manner about my injuries and pains, attributing them to aging, often feels dismissive and uncomfortable. It’s important for a healthcare provider to show empathy, and I believe there is room for improvement in that area. Although his treatments were effective, I couldn't help but feel overlooked due to his lack of professionalism. Being heard and understood is so important for any patient, and I genuinely wish that had been my experience.
