Worst food and service I’ve had during my two weeks stay in Singapore. Absolutely disgusting. The steak is so terribly undercooked that it still feels frozen inside. And when I pointed that out to the counter lady, she just responded “I don’t know about that!” Not a single word from the server the entire time, everything was thrown on the table. It genuinely so sad restaurant like this still exists.

Waited 15 min in line at around 2-2.15pm , no one acknowledged, said changing shift when ask the cashier. (At lunch time?? Ok… strange) Don’t bother to come here. Restaurant next door has better service and food.

I love Aburi En’s food. However, the packing is very slip shot for the Grillled Hokke when we order takeaway. In order to fit into the container, the hokke was chopped into 3-4 parts, quite badly smashed up. As a result, it became very challenging to remove the bones, which would have been easy if it is served as a whole fish, without being so smashed up. It is unacceptable as we paid $18.90 after GST for a serving of the hokke. This is the second time I packed the hokke, it is the same experience for both times. Please improve the packaging!

Went lunch with my sister, the place is superb. Nice and cozy, I had the premium Butadon and it was absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked and full of flavor! The staff and crew especially Rita were super friendly and made the experience really feel warm and welcoming. Great food and even better service. Will definitely be back nextime with my husband. 🥰

Superb food! Can’t believe I never eat before. Had the a4/a5 wagyu beef and premium pork don — both meats literally melt in the mouth.
Had the cheapest Angus steak and woah it was v nicely marinaded and grilled .
Really enjoyed every dish! But not cheap haha and no set lunch

Went here with my uncle during lunchtime on a weekday, no waiting, no queue, service was fast also.
I ordered premium butabara don, veeeeery tasty. Somehow it tasted different with the one I had in my country. The fat was juicy and I didn't even feel sick eating it. The sauce marinated the meat just fine! Even the rice tasted delicious. It comes with miso soup and wakame. For SGD 18.9 (exc. tax maybe) this was worth the price, the portion was big also.

The chirashi was good has a whole but the problem was the rice. Why is it warm Shld it be room temp like sushi rice. And also the oyster was over cooks making it a little dry.

Great Place for Dinner
Had dinner here on a weekday evening. There were quite a number of customers even though it was not full. In a mall full of other excellent choices, this place has managed to hold its own.
The winning factor was definitely the excellent food. I had the “chocolate cake” wagyu beef and eel. The eel was good. The wagyu beef was excellent. It was beautifully marbled and cooked to perfection. I hope it becomes a permanent part of the menu.
Service was great when you can get their attention. Not sure if it was the place where I was sitting. A proper steak knife should be provided for the wagyu beef since it was not totally sliced.
The place was beautifully renovated with some excellent designs. The ceiling was particularly charming.
Looking forward to my next visit.
