We didn’t have high hopes for the matcha here, but $6 for watered-down milk with just a sprinkle of matcha powder is pretty underwhelming—especially for a matcha-focused kiosk. There was no effort in frothing the matcha, and the service was cold and impersonal. Honestly, a good instant matcha latte would do a better job. For just $2 more, you’re better off walking to the basement of Ngee Ann City for a far superior experience.

Hojicha latte with red bean, red bean is sweet. Taste okay.
Matcha latte with jelly can skip. Wanted to try the mochi but not available.

~ 11. Hojicha Soft Serve Parfait Deluxe - 5/5
This was amazing! I didn't think I would like a Hojicha Soft Serve this much. Bold and rich Hojicha flavor that is not too sweet...I could really taste the Roasted Tea on this one. Accompanied with White Mochi, Matcha Jelly, Black Sesame Warabi Mochi and some sort of Syrup.
~ 10. Matcha Soft Serve Parfait Deluxe - 4.5/5
A brilliant Matcha Soft Serve Parfait with White Mochi, Matcha Jelly, Matcha Warabi Mochi and Matcha Syrup! Delish...
I really wanted to try the: 58. 11. Hojicha Custard Hojicha Dough. However they ran out of Hojicha Dough...bummer!

We got a takeaway food delivery for Obanyaki and Warabi Mochi. There was a limited edition Hojicha Obanyaki that was sold out so we didn’t get to have it.
The Double Chocolate and Matcha Dough Obanyaki tasted decent for us. The dough is dry, not the most fluffy inside but okay enough.
Both Warabi Mochi (Black Sesame & Matcha) tasted fine for us too; not a wow factor but just okay.
If we were to patronise the store in person, we may try the soft serve, since there were some good reviews on that.

Great Matcha latte served here.
The obanyaki are great. The new creative flavours, such as the matcha custard, and matcha with warabi are great to try out.
The warabi are very chewy and the red bean paste are made from real and visible red beans.
Soft serve is a little too sweet.

Tried and won't be returning for the matcha custard pancake. It was rather flat tasting as a whole. The matcha custard was starchy in texture and had a funny margarine-like taste to it, not to mention a weak matcha flavour. The pancake dough wasn't satisfactory to me either - you could get better buying bread from other Japanese bakeries in the area, for the price of $3.30.

Bought custard pancake and mixed matcha and red bean. The dough was too thick on both pancake and it taste blend. The custard is tasteless and the mixed did not live up to the highest quality standard this business is promoting. Overall a BIG fail for such Japanese pancake. Plus it is expensive yet doesn’t taste at least decent, 1 quarter of the 2 pancake is down the bin. Really terrible taste on Chinese New Year period. Wont be back and eat at your own risk ⛔️ ⚠️

Objectively one of the worst matcha lattes I’ve ever had outside. I could only taste diluted milk with a tinge of bitterness, with no matcha flavor whatsoever. I don’t know whether this is because the staff put less powder today or other reasons. Would want to give this place another chance but as it stands, it’s pretty bad ($5.50)

Taste so bad, purely just taste like milk. What kind and grade of matcha they're using. Even the culinary grade taste so much better. Then if u ask for less ice they charged u $0.50 extra(who charge extra for less ice, are they giving me more matcha? NO wth) they still gave me 5 cubes of ice with the quality of matcha it tasted like nothing. The staff also very unfriendly, it looks like she rather be somewhere else than serving a customer. Overall if i could give no star whatsoever just for u to know this place really deserve it.

The red bean filling is not as sweet as some other Obanyakis outside. Maybe the use of Matcha dough cuts the sweetness. The store keeper heating up the Obanyaki is great, as this makes the snack warm and less hard 👍🏼 …
