Extremely poor workmanship and zero accountability
I brought several shirts here for button placement and sleeve length adjustments, paying $20 per shirt. The results were shockingly substandard for the price.
The old buttonholes were crudely stitched over instead of being properly closed, and visible connecting threads were left between new buttonholes — something no competent tailor should ever leave on a finished garment. The stitching was uneven, one button fell off before the shirt was even worn, and one brand-new shirt was returned with visible fabric damage.
I returned to the shop to give them a chance to correct the work, but nothing was properly fixed. When I asked for a partial refund, they denied all responsibility for both the poor workmanship and the damage to my new shirt. I now need to buy a replacement shirt and pay another tailor to repair the rest.
I initially chose this tailor because of the 1100+ positive reviews, which gave me confidence in their service. However, my experience was completely opposite — the quality and professionalism were so poor that I now genuinely question how those reviews were earned.
This was an expensive and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise anyone who values their clothing to go elsewhere — the quality of work and the lack of integrity are simply not worth the risk.
(See attached photos for examples of the workmanship and damage.)

Very professional and humorous with quick wit as well! Very quick service and quality fabrics too with good recommendations and accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone needing to get trousers tailored. I’ll definitely go back for another pair of trousers or blazer in future. 😃 …

I recently rented an outfit from Ehkay Tailors, and the entire experience was fantastic. The team was incredibly friendly and professional from the moment I arrived. They guided me through different styles and options, helped me choose something that fit the occasion perfectly, and made sure the sizing was spot on.
The rental pieces were in excellent condition—well-maintained, clean, and tailored so well that it genuinely looked like it was made for me. They handled the measurements quickly and accurately, and the fitting process was smooth and stress-free. Pick-up and return were also very convenient.
What impressed me most was how attentive and accommodating they were. Even though it was a rental, they treated me with the same level of care and detail you’d expect for a custom order.
I highly recommend Ehkay Tailors for anyone looking for high-quality, hassle-free rental options in Singapore. I’ll definitely come back for future events!

I had my wedding suits tailor-made at Ehkay Corner Tailor, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I was served by Dinesh, who guided me through every step of the process.
His years of experience were immediately apparent. From the way he communicated to how he visualised and refined the styles I had in mind. He offered thoughtful recommendations on colour palettes and fabric choices, ensuring the final look suited both the occasion and my personal style.
The suits themselves were a joy to wear. They felt effortless, comfortable, and allowed me to move freely throughout the entire wedding day. From the morning gatecrash to the afternoon photoshoot and the evening banquet, I felt completely at ease. Unlike off-the-rack suits, these did not cause any discomfort or fatigue.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and these suits are definitely pieces I’ll continue to wear well beyond the wedding day. Highly recommended.

Decided on Ehkay to get new officewear and I have no regrets. It was clear within a few minutes of talking to Dinesh that he was friendly, approachable, experienced and competent. He was able to pick up on my fabric and colour preferences quickly and made suggestions on both that I was very happy with. Fitting was done thoroughly - I was pleased to note that when I came down a week later to collect my orders, the measurements had been done perfectly and fit comfortably the first time round. Highly recommended!

When it came time to make my 3-piece wedding suit, I knew I had to find the right tailor. A close friend recommended Ehkay Corner Tailors at Orchard Plaza, and with his high praise in mind, I decided to give it a shot.
I booked an appointment and went down with my fiancée and best man. The shop sits in a small but familiar corner of Orchard Road. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Mr. Dinesh, a gentleman through and through. What stood out immediately was his hospitality; he served us cups of water, a small gesture but one that carried thoughtfulness.
This was my first time getting a custom suit, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Dinesh guided me through every step, breaking down details I’d never thought about, material, style, fit, colour, lapel shapes, and how each choice would affect the final look. He explained things patiently, while keeping the mood light and entertaining. What could have been stressful became fun, and before I knew it, 1.5 hours had passed. I had chosen every single detail of my suit, and we moved on to measurements, which were taken faster than I expected.
The price was a little higher than what I had in mind, but honestly, this isn’t a one-time outfit. A good suit will serve me well for many occasions beyond the wedding, so it felt worth the investment.
What shocked me most was the speed of the process. Not long after the first appointment, Dinesh texted me that my pants were ready. “So fast??” I replied. But sure enough, when I went down, I was greeted with the most perfect pair of pants I’ve ever owned, sharp, beautifully made, and incredibly comfortable.
Soon after, another message came through for the full suit fitting. Again, much earlier than I expected. I booked a later collection date closer to the wedding, as some friends advised, but when the day finally came, trying on the finished suit was a moment of pure satisfaction. Everything fit exactly as it should. It wasn’t just a suit, it felt like my suit.
Mr. Dinesh is the reason I would recommend this place to anyone. He’s professional, yes, but also personal and friendly in a way that makes the entire process enjoyable. He works hard, but he makes it feel effortless for the customer.
The turnaround time is quick, the quality is high, and the experience itself is memorable. You don’t just walk away with a suit, you walk away having enjoyed the journey of creating it.
To anyone considering where to make their suit, whether for a wedding or for work, I can only say this: I highly, highly, highly recommend Ehkay Corner Tailors. The suit I now own is one of the finest pieces of clothing in my wardrobe, and it was made by a fine man. The whole experience was worth every cent.
