Taiwan Food Treats at Takashimaya B2 Runs to 5 Nov 2026
Takashimaya Department Store at Ngee Ann City brings Taiwanese street-food favourites to Food Stops 1-3 on B2 with its Taiwan Food Treats event, running now through Thursday, 5 November 2026. Shoppers can sample savoury sausages, sandwiches, crispy fried ice cream, and smooth sesame paste, alongside other local specialities.
The event features a Black Gold Basque Cheesecake, a rich and creamy dessert with a caramelised top, perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Golden-brown pastries with a purple filling, likely taro or purple sweet potato, are also on offer, adding to the array of Taiwanese snacks.
OSAMANTHUS OLONG Tea and Toasted Sandwiches
Visitors can pair their meal with OSAMANTHUS OLONG (桂花烏龍茶), a bottled osmanthus oolong tea, alongside a toasted sandwich and fries. The combination offers a refreshing balance to the savoury and fried items available at the stalls.
Assorted Skewers
For a quick bite, assorted skewered foods are available, bringing the classic Taiwanese night-market experience to Orchard Road. These skewers are ideal for grazing while exploring the other food stops.
Mum's Kitchen Pork Floss and Snacks
Mum's Kitchen offers a selection of Taiwanese-style snacks, including Fried Saltfish Floss with Seaweed, Original Fried Pork Floss, Sweet Potato Soybean Flakes, and Seaweed & Sesame Fried Pork Floss. These make for tasty take-home treats or gifts.
Head to Food Stops 1-3 at B2 of Takashimaya Department Store before 5 November 2026 to enjoy these Taiwanese delights. For more updates, follow Takashimaya Department Store on social media.
