Paragon Mid-Autumn Lumière Raises S$80,000 for ART:DIS
Paragon's Mid-Autumn Lumière has concluded, with all 50 rabbit sculptures in its Adopt-a-Rabbit initiative now headed to new homes. The campaign raised S$80,000 for ART:DIS (Arts & Disability) Singapore, with S$40,000 from adoptions matched dollar for dollar by CapitaLand Hope Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group, as part of CapitaLand's campaign.
The funds will support ART:DIS' Foundation Visual Arts Programme, which nurtures artistic development and creates greater opportunities for children and youths with disabilities.
Exhibition Highlights
The exhibition, held at Paragon's atrium, featured decorated rabbit sculptures in blue, white, green, pink, gold, and multicoloured designs. Notable pieces included "Munchkin," "The Living Moon," "Gao Zhi," "The Moonflower," and "Bunny the Curious Rabbit." Visitors could scan QR codes to learn more and adopt a sculpture.
Partners and Support
ART:DIS staff and volunteers manned the activation booth, with official partners including Raffles Design Institute. The initiative was part of the Mid-Autumn Lumière event, which ran from 3 September to 22 September 2024 at Paragon.
Paragon thanked all donors and partners for making the season of giving possible.
