Welding / Fabrication Technnician (West)

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on parts according to manufacturing procedures
• Carry out welding repair work according to repair instructions
• Check the WPS against the drawings so that the correct procedure is being used
• To read and understand process instruction with some guidance
• To operate hand tools eg: grinder, drilling and cutting tools

Other information

• Able to read and interpret technical or engineering drawing and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
• Must pass the Welder Qualifications Test (Tack Welding – 2F & 3F)
