VP, Marketing Communications & Content (Insurance|Up to $12k)

The Job 

Internal Communications:

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies to engage employees and foster a cohesive company culture.
• Craft compelling messages for organizational updates, announcements, and initiatives.

Executive Communications (EXCO):

• Partner with the Executive Committee (EXCO) to create high-impact communications, including speeches, presentations, and reports.
• Ensure all EXCO communications reflect the company’s tone of voice and strategic priorities.

Marketing Content Creation:

• Develop marketing content across both internal and external for the insurance business and amplication across all channels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with business objectives and resonates with target audiences.

Awards Pitches:

• Lead the development of award submissions, ensuring compelling storytelling and alignment with award criteria.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather relevant data and insights for impactful pitches.

Presentation Development:

• Design and refine presentations for internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity, visual appeal, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Train and support team members in effective presentation delivery.

Client Communication Review:

• Serve as the key reviewer for all client-facing communications, ensuring consistency with the company’s tone of voice and brand standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to teams to enhance the quality of client communications

The Talent

• Minimally 10 years of experience in marketing communications and content roles within the insurance industry.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong understanding of tone of voice and brand alignment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proven experience in internal and executive communications, marketing content creation, and client communication review.
• Strong presentation design skills with proficiency in tools like PowerPoint.
• Experience in developing award submissions and pitches is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
