Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic Vice President, Head of Finance to drive operational excellence and business growth across our regional markets.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who excels at leveraging data, connecting the dots for cross-functional partners, and navigating uncertainty to find the right commercial decisions. In this executive role, you will lead the financial strategy, focusing on budgeting and forecasting, revenue optimization, capital investment valuation, and operating cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the primary financial and strategic advisor to Group CEO. Foster cross-functional ownership and accountability of territory performance.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting exercises for business portfolios in annual revenue and expenses.
- Profitability & Margin Expansion: Direct leadership focus toward EBITDA and bottom-line profitability. Identify operational inefficiencies, implement cost-saving initiatives and drive significant YoY gross margin improvements.
- Capital Investment Valuation: Review and recommend decisions on major capital investments including expansions, contractions, and complex restructuring efforts.
- Reporting & Process Optimization: Redefine and streamline monthly P&L review processes and reporting cadences to prioritize meaningful business insights for executive leadership while reducing time investment.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners, fostering financial acumen across regional entities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BBA or similar) with a major in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Extensive progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, and business operations, ideally with foundational experience in Big 4 consulting (e.g., transfer pricing or financial and economic analysis).
- Proven track record of managing and directly contributing to multimillion-dollar cost savings and margin projections.
- Demonstrated experience managing finance operations across Pacific geographies (including Southeast Asia, Australia, Korea, Japan, and India).
- Exceptional executive presentation skills, capable of delivering investment recommendations directly to the C-Suite.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools: Tableau, Looker, PowerBI.
- Strong command of economic, financial, and database tools: Essbase, Bloomberg, OneSource, Compustat, Amadeus, Oriana, and Stata.
