Your Role

Unified Global Alternatives (UGA) is a newly formed business unit that brings together our leading alternatives manager selection franchises from Asset Management and Global Wealth Management, to create a top 5 global alternatives business with a combined USD 250bn in invested assets.
UGA is a transformational move for our clients, our partners and our firm. Combining our expertise and resources will enable us to leverage the full breadth and depth of our global platform, significantly enhance our value proposition, and meet the growing demand for Alternative investments across several investment verticals: Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Private Credit and Hedge Funds.
In order to support our continued growth in Alternatives, we are looking for an individual to lead the Infrastructure team within the Operating Office of our newly formed UGA business unit.
You will be responsible for:
· Supporting the Head of UGA Operating Office in the efficient running of the global UGA organization; leading on technology, data management and data analytics.
· Acts as the Stream Product Lead for UGA and co-ordinates all IT related services, providing oversight to all SLA providers under the Agile organization
· Supports the Head of UGA Operating Office in aligning the organization to its increasing global technology needs and fostering the integration of the various businesses and investment verticals into one single operation
· Supporting with specific strategic and tactical projects as identified from time to time, ensuring close alignment with the current business structure and operational model
· Assisting through organization with developing and structuring new products/businesses from an technology point of view
· Assessing on an ongoing basis operational risk issues and co-ordinates with the independent risk control unit
Your Team
You will be reporting to the Head of UGA Operating Office and lead Technology Management, Data Management & Analytics capabilities across the globe.
Your Expertise
· Minimum MSc. in Finance or related fields
· At least 15 years of relevant work experience in COO / digital product / technology roles in alternatives
· Demonstrable track record of project management and implementation
· Strong people management skills and ability to lead teams globally, including managers
· Ability to interact with senior management and various stakeholder groups; excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
· Highly motivated, well-organised; drive and aspiration are important as well as the willingness and interest to learn in a fast paced environment
· Excellent ability to multi-task and work effectively under a continued sense of urgency; high intellectual capacity; ability to solve a broad set of problems quickly
· Pro-actively challenge the norm, break down silos, think beyond what is currently accepted and provoke the status quo
· Collegiate team player that can partner across other functions, regions and businesses
· Good writing skills and ability to identify and present key points of analysis to senior management
· Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, maturity and good independent judgement
· Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
