Main Responsibilities

• Attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment of a minor nature based on skill level.
• Responsible for guest and internal requests for repairs to rooms, public area, M&E equipment, etc
• Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level.
• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections request as assigned in the computerised maintenance system.
• Ensure Fire and Engineering safety features operate in good operating condition.
• Be thoroughly familiar with Hotel’s emergency procedures and perform assigned duties per Hotel and departmental procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legislated workplace Health and Safety Act requirements
• Ensure all requests for maintenance are carried out within an acceptable time frame.

Knowledge, experience, skills required

• Minimum 1 Year hotel related experience
• Able to do shift work, 5 days work week
