Team Lead, Restructuring and Forensics

• Participate and lead in the day-to-day administration of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements
• Reviewing draft letters, notices, emails and reports
• Securing, indexing and safekeeping of books and records.
• Planning and executing assets realization / debt recovery process
• Information gathering from books / records of clients and third parties
• Managing the processes of adjudication of creditors' claims and the investigatory work to trace assets and assess potential recoveries for creditors
• Participating in the financial review and preparing restructuring proposals
• Liaising with stakeholders, creditors and other business advisors.
• Participating in clients' / creditors' meetings and preparation of minutes of meetings
• Coaching and guiding junior team members
• Performing any other duties as assigned to support departmental and organization objectives
• Working closely with Directors and Partners and communicate issue(s) aroused clearly and timely

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
• 4 to 5 years of experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring, with strong insolvency technical knowledge and leadership experience in a professional services environment
• Excellent project management, analytical, and financial modelling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing and stakeholder presentations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
• A strong team player and able to lead a small team
