Staff Nurse - OT Trained (CLINIC/Central) - up to $5500/Office Hours #HAO

Salary: up to $5500

Working Days & Hours: Mondays - Fridays 8am - 5pm, Saturdays 8am - 12pm

Certain days might stagger to 7am - 4pm depending on cases

Job Description:

• Peri-operative Support: Assist specialists and anesthetists during fertility procedures, including Egg Collection (OPU), Embryo Transfer (ET), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), and diagnostic tests like HyCoSy.
• Theatre Management: Prepare the operating theatre, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment (e.g., microscopes, ultrasound machines) are ready and functional.
• Patient Coordination: Collaborate with the laboratory (embryologists) and specialists' clinics to ensure seamless care at every stage of the patient's cycle.
• Pre- and Post-operative Care: Perform basic patient assessments, manage recovery in the day-ward, and monitor patients as they wake from anesthesia.
• Clinical Duties: Perform venepuncture (blood draws), administer injections, and coach patients on self-administering fertility drugs.
• Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient reports, and sterilization logs to meet high safety and quality standards. 

Job Requirements: Min Diploma/Degree in Nursing w min 2 yrs of relevant Operating Theatre experience
