Spanish Language Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Language Instructor to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging Spanish language lessons to adult learners, helping them achieve fluency for academic, professional, or personal purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured Spanish language lessons (beginner to advanced levels)
• Develop lesson materials aligned with curriculum objectives
• Conduct both group classes and one-on-one sessions
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles
• Support students in achieving language proficiency goals (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Native in Spanish (with strong familiarity with European Spanish language and culture preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
• Recognized teaching certification (e.g., ELE, DELE-related training, or equivalent) is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language
• Strong command of English (spoken and written) for instructional purposes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage adult learners in a professional training environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching adult learners or professionals
• Experience in curriculum design or structured language programs
• Familiarity with CEFR standards
