Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using the OutSystems platform
• Partner with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Build workflows, integrations, and user interfaces to enhance business processes
• Perform testing, debugging, and optimisation to ensure application reliability and performance
• Maintain clear documentation, including technical specifications and user guides
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in application development, with strong exposure to OutSystems
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, CI/CD)
• Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Familiarity with API integrations and enterprise system connectivity
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications in OutSystems or other low-code platforms
• Experience in mobile application development
• Hands-on experience in platform configuration, including workflows, business rules, data validation, and UI components within OutSystems
