Location – Central

Contract duration – 12 months [renewable]

Responsibilities

• Support transition and operational readiness for modernization projects (COBOL Java backend, React frontend).
• Define and maintain operational processes, including monitoring, alerting, escalation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to cutover preparation and knowledge transfer for operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and enterprise standards.
• Track and report SLA/OLA performance, escalating breaches or risks as needed.
• Participate in DR/BCP activities, including testing and documentation.
• Prepare service delivery reports, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.
• Document and follow up on action items from maintenance and support meetings.
• Assist in exit plan execution, ensuring knowledge capture during vendor handover or contract closure.

Requirements

• Strong experience in leading application operations and production support for modernization systems.
• Hands-on expertise with COBOL and Java-based applications, including operational readiness for modernization projects.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
• Familiarity with operational processes, SLA/OLA management, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
