Software Developer (COBOL) (Weekends,shifts) #IKR

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and enhance Life Asia core insurance applications using COBOL and Life Asia components.

· Customize policy administration, billing, claims, and underwriting modules based on business needs.

· Analyze functional specifications and convert them into detailed technical designs.

· Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT and production releases.

· Investigate and resolve application defects and production issues promptly.

· Work with onshore and offshore teams to deliver projects within timelines.

· Support system integration with upstream and downstream applications.

· Ensure compliance with coding standards, security, and regulatory requirements.

· Participate in impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements.

· Strong knowledge of insurance business processes and good communication skills required.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT or related discipline
• Experience in COBOL
