Settlement Officer (Bank Ops I East I Up to 5k)

The Opportunity

The Job

• Process external and internal asset transfers covering equities, fixed income, funds, and digital assets
• Coordinate with CDP, Front Office, custodians, and external third parties to ensure smooth transfer and settlement
• Investigate and resolve cash and securities breaks promptly
• Ensure all transfer instructions comply with bank operating guidelines and market requirements
• Handle security transfer queries from Front Office and other stakeholders
• Support and lead ad‑hoc projects to enhance processes and systems
• Work with project teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation
• Perform additional duties assigned by the team
• Provide operational support to the team leader when required

The Talent

• Degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in securities settlement or asset transfers
• Basic understanding of equities, bonds, and funds
• Experience with CDP or market settlement processes is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication skills and able to work independently
