Job Summary

Join The Peranakan Club as a Full-Time Customer Service & Heritage Representative to create meaningful guest experiences by delivering welcoming service, sharing cultural stories, and supporting daily operations in a vibrant heritage setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver friendly, attentive customer service to enhance their experience
• Assist guests with seating arrangements, taking orders, processing payments, and performing basic service tasks accurately
• Share simple Peranakan heritage stories, food knowledge, and cultural insights to enrich guest understanding (training provided)
• Support the smooth running of gallery tours, workshops, and special events as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and create a calm, welcoming environment for guests and staff
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and operations teams to ensure efficient daily service flow

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Comfortable communicating with guests in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is a bonus
• Interest in heritage, food, or community work
• Willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts
• Open to seniors, caregivers returning to work, career switchers, and first-time F&B workers
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
