Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure that hygiene, safety, and service standards comply with Singapore’s regulations and company requirements.
  • Monitor food quality and service processes to uphold customer satisfaction at all times.

2. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff to enhance professional skills and service standards.
  • Create and manage staff schedules, allocate duties effectively, and ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Motivate and inspire the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

3. Financial Management

  • Monitor the restaurant’s financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profit margins.
  • Manage inventory effectively, minimise waste, and optimise procurement processes.

4. Customer Relations

  • Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure swift resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Promote the restaurant brand through social media and offline events to attract new customers.

5. Marketing & Promotions

  • Collaborate with headquarters or the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity and propose actionable improvement strategies.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree; a major in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Candidates who are Singapore Citizen, with experience expanding an F&B chain from the ground up into overseas markets, are strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Store Manager in a Western dining restaurant; familiarity with the Singapore F&B market is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and office tools such as Excel and POS systems.
  • Strong financial management and data analysis capabilities.

Language

  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
