Senior / Assistant Manager, Group Hospitality Services (Food Service)

This role oversees end-to-end food service operations to ensure patient, staff, and catering meals are prepared and delivered safely, accurately, and on time. The successful candidate must be hands-on in kitchen operations while also managing administrative work, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food service operations across control room, store, catering, dishing, and assembly areas
• Manage manpower planning, hiring, deployment, and mobilisation
• Ensure staff training and vaccination compliance
• Manage food service contracts and monitor vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and fire safety standards
• Drive emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
• Work closely with Executive Chef and production teams on inpatient, staff, and catering meals
• Lead workflow improvement, automation, waste reduction, and sustainability initiatives
• Handle escalated patient complaints and feedback
• Prepare and submit monthly food service reports
• Conduct monthly contract payment checks for stewarding services
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in hospital, hotel, restaurant, or high-volume food service operations
