Senior Backend Engineer (Java, Tech MNC)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with US Tech MNC to look for a Senior Backend Engineer.
• This role is responsible to build and maintain scalable, high-quality Java Spring-based microservices and APIs for cloud-based platforms while ensuring performance, reliability, and automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Talent

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot/MVC/Data, and dependency injection.
  
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and optionally NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and concurrency patterns in Java.
  
• Knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle), Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
  
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Spring Security/OAuth2, and service mesh/API gateways.
  
• Strong grasp of design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and scalable application design principles.
  
• Experience with database schema design and API-first/DevSecOps practices.
  

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience building applications, preferably on the Java Spring stack.
  
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS/PaaS products.
  
• Ability to analyze, articulate, and evaluate solutions, and switch between programming languages/tools as needed.
