Senior Accountant – Luxury Retail Finance | Up to $5.5K | 5-Day Work

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading luxury lifestyle brand in Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in retail finance who are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multi-entity reporting and cross-border accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end accounting tasks using SAP, including payments, AR/AP, withholding tax filings, invoice coding, and staff claims validation

• Prepare full sets of accounts in compliance with global accounting guidelines and local GAAP

• Generate monthly financial reports, balance sheet schedules, and cashflow forecasts for management review

• Conduct annual inventory counts with boutiques, warehouses, and auditors

• Manage fixed assets including tagging, tracking, and record maintenance

• Prepare gross turnover reports for submission to landlords and coordinate financial matters with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries

• Support ad-hoc finance projects and cross-border accounting initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail accounting, preferably in luxury, high-end fashion, or jewellery retail

• Familiarity with Singapore and Taiwan financial operations is preferred

• Experience managing multi-entity reporting and full sets of accounts

• Strong knowledge of GST/VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax compliance

• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work to tight deadlines

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-border teams

• Fluent in Mandarin is advantageous

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to $5,500/month (depending on experience)

• Office-based, Monday to Friday

• Exposure to luxury retail operations across Southeast Asia
