Job Description
Lufthansa Technik is currently seeking a highly capable candidate for the position of Sales Manager – Engine Parts & Accessories Repair (EPAR) for Lufthansa Technik’s customers in the Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore. The position falls within Segment Engine Services of Lufthansa Technik and will be responsible for:
- Representing and promoting the product portfolio of EPAR to external and internal customers
- The creation and regular monitoring of the EPAR sales budget in the EPAR network
- Identification of sales opportunities and proactively develop business plans and sales strategies for designated markets
- Continuous monitoring and tracking of opportunity progress
- Providing technical consulting on engine MRO, lead in strategic projects
- Calculation of EPAR product proposals, including risk assessment, in alignment with all involved stakeholders (internal & external)
- Negotiation of contracts in accordance with business unit requirements, including the adjustment or revision of the scope of such contracts
- Establishing and maintaining relationships within the regional MRO industry and potential customers
- Preparation, scheduling and execution of customer visits
- Preparation and reporting of sales activities and figures
- Monitoring and analysis of competitors and industry trends
- Participation in marketing and customer events (e.g. Conferences, Exhibitions, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned or required
Your Profile
- University degree in business administration and/or an engineering qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience within Sales at customer interface, preferably in the field of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) or similar technical services
- Very good knowledge of aircraft engine systems and MRO
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of another Asian language or German is advantageous
- Able to work independently, and possess a high level of business and project management skills
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, able to structure and plan complex workflows and projects
- Possess a high level of decisiveness, resilience and responsibility
- Likes working with teams from multiple nationalities and delivering a high level of customer service
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, and experienced in customer relationship management
- Able to cope with time pressures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office functions and prior experience with SAP preferred
- Able to travel to Germany and extensively within Asia Pacific
