Retail Optometrist

• Established Optical Company

• Working Location: Island wide

• Working Days: 5 Days work week (11am - 9pm)

• Salary Range: Basic Up to $4000 + Commissions + AWS

Your Role, Your Influence:

• Examine and explain patients' vision then offer advice

• Operate diagnostic equipment

• Write reports to ophthalmologist

• Teach first-timer how to handling and wearing of contact lens

• Inventory control of contact lenses

• Troubleshoot, adjust and fit the spectacles and lenses

• Basic in data entry

• Ensure equipment and measuring tools are in good working condition

• Supervise and train new or younger Optometrists and Opticians

• Ad-hoc duties as per assigned

The Ingredients for Success:

• Minimum a Diploma in Optometry from a recognized college (e.g. Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic)

• Must be eligible for provisional/conditional/full registration with OOB

• Retail experience will be advantageous
