Research Associate

Our client, a Swiss MNC located in Science Park is looking for outstanding candidates to fill the position of Research Associate (Minimum 1 Year Contract, Salary :2.8K to 3.0K, Location : Science Park, Benefits : 15 days AL, 1 month completion bonus etc.).

Responsibilities :

• Function as a member of a diverse project team. Interact with peers, lab personnel, and customers from diverse business units.
• Perform and execute all tasks and activities diligently and accurately as per the instructions or SOP given for that day/week by the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Contribute to weekly lab meetings..
• Update system and other task tracking tools in a timely and accurate manner.
• Contribute to troubleshooting of lab technical issues. Projects will be distributed by the project coordinator.
• Candidate may have to accomplish multiple concurrent tasks as per instruction from the supervisor. Self-motivated and make short-term plans for own day-to-day activities.
• The candidate will comply with all regulatory/corporate or government regulations.
• Handle/ disposed heavy lab wastes occasionally.

Requirements :

• 1-2 years wet lab or marker data analysis experience in molecular marker technology or allied biotechnology activities. Promising fresher can also be considered.
• Knowledge in handling high throughput PCR/ Real-time PCR/ NGS, laboratory equipment, liquid handling equipment, database management, knowledge of lab chemicals.
• Ability to use professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
• Good laboratory practices
