Reading and Writing Teacher (Part Time)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and teach classes in accordance with Julia Gabriel Centre’s methodology and Reading & Writing programme requirements
• Provide high quality, interactive and engaging literacy lessons
• Adopt positive guidance techniques and strategies at all times
• Communicate with parents and provide constructive feedback in line with the programmes’ requirements
• Attend in-house training sessions provided for curriculum related matters and professional development

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, Education, English, English Literature/ Linguistics, Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education or NIE teacher qualification preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in teaching early learners preferred.
• English graduates with teaching experience will be considered
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, good team player
• Good communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
• Enjoy working with children from 3 to 8 years old
• Candidates with experience teaching in preschools or enrichment centres will have an advantage
