Quality Control Microbiologist (Entry Level, Contract) #HCTXZ

Responsibilities

• Perform timely testing of raw materials, in-process samples, utilities, base powder, and finished products

• Follow good laboratory practices (GLP) and GMP documentation standards

• Support investigations through basic Root Cause Analysis

• Assist in method verification and validation when required

• Collect and analyze environmental monitoring samples (swabs, air, water) to ensure hygiene standards

• Support environmental monitoring testing activities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant laboratory records

• Manage QC inventory such as reagents, chemicals, and consumables

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields

• 1–3 years of experience in QC testing or laboratory work in a GMP-regulated environment

• Familiarity with laboratory systems (e.g. LIMS, Empower, MODA, or similar)

• Good understanding of GMP and documentation practices

• Team player who can work well in a fast-paced environment
