Purchasing Manager (Hospitality or Hotel Industry)

Job Summary

The role includes developing sourcing strategies, executing go-to-market processes, evaluating options and negotiating competitive pricing to procure goods and services of superior quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to procure raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and consumables that meet production and business requirements
• Lead supplier evaluation and negotiation processes to secure competitive pricing, high quality, and reliable supply
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with operational needs and business objectives
• Drive the implementation of e-procurement platforms to enhance user experience and increase procurement productivity
• Maintain accurate vendor price lists, contracts, and procurement records to ensure compliance and transparency
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and resolve supply chain issues to maintain uninterrupted operations
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize procurement spend
• Manage procurement activities independently across multiple outlets and departments, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Hospitality, Business, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ purchasing experience in club, hotel, or hospitality environment
• Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
